Summer on the Carolina Coast

If you’re familiar with Festiva Resorts then you probably know that the highest concentration of our resorts (11 out of 26) is along the Carolina Coast.  From the Outer Banks in North Carolina to the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach to Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, resorts in the Festiva Adventure Club family make their mark on the map on ocean front property, golf courses and in historic districts.  If you are spending your summer vacation at at Festiva Resort along the Carolina Coast, we have put together some links to local events and information that will help you plan your trip.  Check back soon for the Southeast & Caribbean Calendars!

Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina

The Outer Banks Beach Club is the perfect place for anyone who is a beach bum, history buff, or shopaholic! Kill Devil Hills not only has great surf, sand and sun, but it’s also the place where the Wright Brothers made the state of North Carolina ‘First in Flight.’ For a break from the heat, or if you get caught in a summer storm, there are plenty of beachy boutiques and bargain-bearing outlets for your retail therapy! Atlantic Beach, North Carolina

Atlantic Beach is a quiet seaside town on the Crystal Coast, or the Southern Outer Banks.  Peppertree Atlantic Beach is an ideal resort for a beach vacation as it’s close to restaurants and shops, yet while on the property you’ll feel as if the ocean is all yours.  If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, there are several nearby towns that are worth exploring.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Charleston, South Carolina

The historic city of Charleston is busy all year, and the summer heat doesn’t seem to slow anyone down.  If you’re visiting Charleston this summer, you’ll benefit greatly from planning ahead with so many options. You’ll find tours of all kinds (walking, carriage, historic homes, plantations) as well as museums, beaches, restaurants, art galleries and much more! Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

The event calendars are a resource for anyone who already has made their summer reservations to travel to any of the Festiva properties (or any properties in those areas). The summer months are very high demand for all of our properties, particularly those along the coast, and they do tend to book quite early. Some members make reservations up to a year ahead of time for certain holiday weeks, and it’s always a good idea to book several months ahead for any summer week on the coast. Visit the FAQ section of the Festiva Adventure Club website or contact Owner Services for more information on how you can get the best vacations out of your membership.
